Dear Visitor,
on this web application you will find the transcribed data from the St. Anna – Verl - parish registers from the period between 1650 and 1874.
The aim is to reconstruct a part of Verler population who were born in the large gap or got married or died during these times. The data shows a quite interesting picture of the population of Verl. The great number of Heuerlinge in the Verl area, who often had no fixed name, makes it very hard to find the right families. Due to these problems, there will be a lot of families, with only one or a few children even though they are probably listed under different names with more children.
As far as I could, I tried to put family units together. However, the accuracy of the assignment, I can’t guarantee.
Available now the data from the following parish register volumes 4, 6-8 and 10-25 (13b only partly) are finished.
